With Women’s Advancement, our mission is to:

🟥 Build Intentional Relationships
🟥 Provide Spiritual Nurturing
🟥 Provide Practical Life Skills
🟥 Extend kindness and compassion to women in need

Nurturing Women Spiritually

Our goal is create deep, intentional relationships with the women we serve. In return, we hope to to build a community of strong, faith-filled women who lift each other up and serve those and the world around them.

"Fanm Vanyan"

Every Friday we gather around 25 women. We worship, share the Gospel and create deep relationships with these women and come alongside them during their day to day life.

Madeline Etienne leads our women's ministry and Chedline Napoleon is our lead chef when mission teams are in town! These two ladies are living proof of coming alongside and doing life with Haitian women. They went from strangers, to fellow co-labors for the Kingdom, to sisters and family!

The group calls themselves "Fanm Vanyan" which means "Resilient Woman".

Practical Life Skills

Along with sharing the Gospel, we are actively trying to support these women with finding a job or starting a business.

Examples of jobs The Lord has provided:

🎨 Painting tote bags
💍 Creating jewelry
☕ Making coffee
🍪 Selling snacks in a concession stand box

How are we involved?
We help them get their feet on the ground. However, the ultimate goal is for their businesses to be self-sustainable. We want them to feel dignified through their work and not lean on others to make it happen!

Physical Needs

As God allows, we serve women facing hardship by offering tangible support such as food, diapers, wipes, formula, feminine products, hygiene supplies and emergency assistance.
